A web page on Bank of America's grant program for conservation at museums reveals that a Hughie Lee-Smith painting will be included in the new Smithsonian museum, the National Museum of African American History and Culture (NMAAHC). The one painting illustrated for the museum's 2014 grant from the program is the Hughie Lee-Smith, Untitled, oil on masonite, 1959-60.
